The march up to New Hampshire’s over 4000 foot mountain peaks has been grueling. So I’m taking a few days off to rest, sail and eat. My legs feel like rubber and the thought of climbing another mountain seems tortorous. Last year I would look forward to coming up to the Whites and climb two or three in a weekend, all in good fun. I miss the joy of climbing. So, I’ve decided to do it in 4 day chunks. 4 days of climbing and 3 days home relaxing. Why not set it up so it’s an enjoyable activity instead of a chore? I have 408 miles to go and 10 weeks to do it in. It’s time to relax and enjoy it.
Time off before Mt. Moosilauke.
